“Needs for the clinics, challenges for technology: an integrative approach to sensorimotor research”
March 11-13, 2018
The fourth and last PACE thematic workshop will be hosted by the Rehabilitation Hospital Sheba Medical Centre, in Israel, but organized by PACE ESRs. They will use the resources of the SHEBA in terms of both facilities and expertise. Ben-Gurion University of the Negev (BGU) will also share its experience in organizing workshops and provide administrative support for the organization.
The structure of this last workshop should be identical to the previous ones; i.e. include lectures by within PACE and external invited scientists, a session dedicated to an ethical issue as well as hands-on session using the Clinical Neuroscience facilities of the Host Institution. Through this activity, ESRs will gain practical experience in the organization of scientific meetings and will exchange ideas and research questions outside their usual peer group. In addition, and importantly, this last workshop will give the chance to PACE’s ESRs to address scientific they might feel as missing in the previous workshops (providing valuable feedback for future ITN projects).
The first day of the workshop will be dedicated to a series of lectures by experts from Israel and abroad.
On the second day, the ESRs will take a tour in the center for advanced technologies in rehabilitation. A student’s debate on current issues on rehabilitation will close the day.
