Ljubica Jovanovic

About me…

My name is Ljubica Jovanovic, I come from Serbia. My background is in experimenal psychology. As part of the PACE network, I am currently a PhD student at Laboratoire des Systèmes Perceptifs, at Ecole Normale Supérieure in Paris France, under supervision of Pascal Mamassian.

Why I joined PACE…

In my opinion, the PACE network offers an amazing opportunity to develop practical research skills, as well as to collaborate with leading researchers in the field. The network is a great place for doing interdisciplinary science and to share expertise.

My project…

The project I am working on aims to provide more insight into how people perceive time, especially in conditions when different senses are involved, for example, when we perceive an event via both vision and audition. This is an important question to consider, given that there is no sense dedicated to perception of time (as for vision or audition for example), but humans as well as animals are able to perceive and react to timing.
